Had an amazing time with friends! We enjoyed the local charm and went canoeing around the Broads. Winterton-on-Sea's sandy beaches and seal colonies were highlights. The lodging was clean with comfy beds and good showers, a perfect base for our adventures!
One downside was the service at dinner. We had to order drinks at the bar, which felt a bit off for a laid-back evening.

Fantastic playground for the kids. Staff service lacked attention during peak hours. Enjoyed cycling around the beautiful area. Room cleanliness could improve.

great place but could improve on cleanliness
The staff provided exceptional service, making us feel welcomed throughout our stay. The large Sunday lunch was impressive and truly satisfying, offering generous portions that exceeded our expectations.
There were minor cleanliness issues in the common areas that detracted from the overall experience.

Family with children delight
We had a cozy stay in a spacious three-bedroom apartment. The kids absolutely loved the playground, which was just for them since no one else was around. the view from our place was spectacular, especially during the sunset when the birds were returning to roost.
It wasn’t inexpensive, but the experience was still acceptable.

Oh mate, the fish medley at the restaurant was pure gold! Plus, I adored the cozy bar with its stunning waterside views—the perfect spot for a pint after a day of exploring. The room was a gem too, bright and clean, with a modern bathroom that had a power shower.
But a cheeky little downside, the key for our room safe was missing, and the code we got didn't work. Not a biggie, but still a bit of a hassle—everything else was top-notch though!

Stunning views and family-friendly atmosphere
My family and I recently spent two nights in a three-bedroom apartment and were completely enchanted by the picturesque setting alongside the broads. The beautiful sunsets from the jetty were a highlight, and our kids adored the playground facilities and outdoor space. While the service was mostly attentive, there was a minor hiccup with having to order drinks at the bar during our meal, which could be improved for a more seamless dining experience.
